Cluster Restoration

I am very intrigued by your temperature curing of the chrome paint. Curing the chrome paint was my biggest problem. How did you come up with the temp and time?
When I used to paint my die cast models that’s what always used for enamel paint

I stared with a low temp of around 30c and work up to 80c and keep and eye on it but as long as you keep it under 120c u should be fine over that the plastic can start to go soft

Hello Sig 440.
How did you tape (protect) the "Lights, Flashers,On / Off, and wipers lettering during the painting of the black background?
Do you have a picture of that part of the process?
Looks great so far...

Used 3m green masking tape very low adhesive hobby knife to trim and a magnifying glass on a stand with very steady hands
Hand painted the lettering with a number 1 brush
And a bloody sore neck

Hello Sig 440
Thanks the answer "Hand painted the lettering with a number 1 brush"
Did you use the same "Silver Paint" as you used for the bezel?
I was wondering how you were going to do that...
