Hello All

I have my car all back together...my problem is that no matter how I adjust the clutch, my peddle sticks right at the floor...

Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated..

Is it possible my return spring in there is simply too old and too weak??

Thanks,

Shane

Let me guess. You put in a Diaphram clutch and still have the "asist" spring up under the dash. You will have to remove that spring. The easiest way is to leave the pedal on the floor and force big washers or quarters between all the coils{i help with a screwdriver as a wedge} and then pull the pedal up and pry the spring off. Leave the "washers in the coils to help reinstall if you change clutch types at a later date.

well I used to have a three prong pressure plate, now it has alot more then that... but there is no spring under my dash on the clutch pedal....

Any other thoughts?

That spring should be WAAAAAAAY up in there. You can add one if you don't mind drilling a hole in the peddle
