Where is best supplier and what brand?? Just doing in a 62 225 I am putting in the 62 Lancer. Just a driver!!!
McLeod for sure
You have a McLeod behind a slant six?
There is a clutch write-up over on slantsix.org. I don't believe there is an off the shelf HD race style available and Barber is taking daily driver.
About 3 years ago I bought a 3 piece clutch kit listed on Rockauto for around $100. It's a 10" HD (think taxi). It does the job, easy on the leg.
It's about 3/4" larger than stock but is scalloped so had to buy special small head attaching bolts from Brewers. It fits the stock flywheel. I'm not convinced I'm getting enough disc departure and I would have no problem using a Luk or other stock size.
Yeah maybe you got that defect, quality control has gone to ****.It seems some people have better LUK than I did.

Possibly Clutchmasters. We had one in town for a long time and their products and service were top notch.IT is going behind a stock slant so it won't be hot-rodded!!!!! BUT I want one that will last! Back when I lived in North Mo for 30 years I would go into downtown KC. to a clutch store that had been there 50 years. They rebuilt them and provided anything and everything related to ANY clutch. I don't reminder their name. Going there was about the only reason I would travel to downtown there!!!!
