Anyone else having problems with the clutch pedal rod retaining clip randomly popping off? I have replaced it twice, everything appears to be properly aligned. I am a bit puzzled

Is this the bell crank end clip?
Is you pedal rod worn, maybe burred up or tapered in the ID of the holes from use?
Maybe have someone work the pedal while you watch for twists and bends by the rod and or the bell crank.
Bad engine or trans mounts allowing excessive torque roll?

I will check the id. Mounts are all good. Thanks
Make sure all 4 legs of the clip are under the head of the pin. Should look like this when installed.
