Clutch pedal throw???

Was told that the earlier (67-69) 4 gear A body cars had a different clutch pedal throw than the 70 later ones. Meaning less pedal depressing to disengage the clutch quicker. Anyone know for SURE if there is ANY truth to this? I do not have the 2 pedal assembly's here to compare and can not find any literature about it.
 
Never heard that.

Me neither. An older racer told me he used to swap them out in his 70 duster so he did not have to depress clutch pedal as far for quicker shifting. I honestly cant see that it even would have made that much of a difference, but apparently he thought so. Found it to be interesting none the less
