my car was a 3 on the tree. it will have a 727 when i get it put back together some year. is it possible to remove the clutch pedal from under the dash and leave the small brake pedal under there, maybe with a spacer to make up the space that the clutch pedal occupied??

possible yes, but why you could sell the clutch pedal set up for a lot more then the cost of buying the auto pedals. (unless you plan on going back) I have a set of auto pedals for sale if your interested.

Yes you can do it. No need for a spacer though. I took the brake pedal from a manual car and put it in y auto car. I think it looks better my self.

so whats the deal, just pull the clutch pedal off of the shaft??

IIRC there are two shafts, well one shaft and one tube, the tube is what holds the brake pedal in place and the clutch has a shaft on the end of it that slides thru the tube and has a clip on the end....Take the whole setup out of the car and inspect, repair, paint and you'll see what I'm talking about.

This picture shows the clutch pedal with the shaft on it.... oh and you most likely wont have enough room under the dash to just remove the clip on the end and slide the shaft out, I didn't

It's been so long ago I can't remember how it comes out. But ya you just take the clutch pedal out and leave the brake in there they are mounted seperatly from what I remember.. A Haynes manual or the diagran player1up gave will help you out a lot.

Happy wrenching:cheers:
