i have 9 tilt steering columns. 7 from trucks. 2 probably truck but between 81-85. i don't have the money to buy an aftermarket tilt column. car is 71 dart. pics show where i lined up the shifter collar, mounting tabs and total length. not concerned with steering wheel, cause it will get changed. might try to keep column shift. front column tube diameter is 2.195 and truck column is 2.00. truck has a rubber grommet that fits into the firewall adapter that might allow the dart firewall adapter to be used. i am not worried about the mounting tabs as the truck only has 2 tabs and dart has 3. they line up pretty good. any thoughts/ideas/remarks will be appreciated. tia. rick w.
