I finally got around to sealing my air cleaner to the bottom of my hood. I was pretty cheap to, thanks to Menards. It was about $5 for 2.25" air conditioning foam and some 3m tape.

I am not done yet with the car, I still have body work and repaint left to do.

I finally got around to sealing my air cleaner to the bottom of my hood. I was pretty cheap to, thanks to Menards. It was about $5 for 2.25" air conditioning foam and some 3m tape.

Looks good but I would make a modification. get a piece if 16ga steel, rivit it to the bottom plate of the airclaener and make a 6" tall peice of foam to go around the outside to seal it in completelty.

I redone the air box, check it out.
