can I run hollo push rod with them

I could have acces to w9 heads and of course
will need to use hollo push rod

already running compcam 828-16
and was wondering if I could still use them

According to Comp Cams catalog, they are for engines that oil through the rocker shafts.
 
I don't see why you could not use them on a combination that doesn't require them. They just get lubed a different way. However they must be the correct length.

Be nice if they did, but I went over their catalog with a fine tooth nose and couldn't find a solid roller lifter that would pushrod oil. I was talking with them yesterday, I should have asked.

Alright, I just got off the phone with Comp Cams. Those lifters have axle bearing oiling and pushrod oiling.
 
It's like the old saying, "if you want to dance you have to pay the fiddler". These lifters require no clearancing for the link bars on the lifter galley walls.
