Comp cam xe274h power brake issue???

just put this cam in my 340, it has power brakes do u think there will b an issue with p brakes????

No there shouldn't be if its tuned in right, that cam can get close to 13 inches manifold vacuum or there abouts.
 
I've run 230 degree cams with 9.5to1 compression before. Had about 11" of vacuum and wasn't a problem for the type driving i did, mainly light cruising and some strip passes. Didn't like repeated hits on the pedal as it would get a little firm. If you try it out and have any issues you can always add a vac. storage canister.

I had that same cam in a 360 with 9.8 to 1 compression and it only pulled 9 inches of vacuum in neutral. Going down the road it would go up to 15 but not idling. I doubt it'll work good with factory power brakes. May work with an aftermarket dual diaphram booster.
