Competition Products Cylinder Heads??

Of course, it’s not impossible that their picture of the chamber side of the head isn’t one of the 70cc chambers.

Might be worth a call to CP and see what they have to say about that 70cc chamber volume spec.

Agree with Fishman. The speedmaster would be a good choice for a street/strip 500, not a budget 400. (Decent offset rockers will cost as much as the heads!)
Budget 400, I would buy 440 source (or Promaxx or sidewinder).
And like said above, I seriously doubt those heads are 70 cc's.

Yeah that's a stealth 80cc chamber

Looks like the same casting that’s been offered thru SM, Sidewinder, Promaxx, Performance world, Bruce Toth……to name a few.

The visual clue is the thicker than usual divider wall between each pair of intake ports.

The castings are fine, but they don’t flow 300 on the intake side as cast.
It takes some work to get them there.

My buddy just flowed trickflow 240s out of the box on his bench and if I remember correctly his bench said like 300-308 cfm at .700 lift

I haven’t flowed one in ages, but I’ve had at least a dozen different ootb TF240’s on my bench in the past.

All were very close to the TF advertised numbers(320-ish@.700”).

He did the math and found his bench was reading 12% lower but if the heads doing better than the bench says thats a good thing lol.

LOL your engine proves the Trick Flow 240 #'s, actually overachieved

Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like the Elelbrock 5090 would be much better. 9.24 compression and better choices for rockers and likely a better made head. This is why I ask questions here.

Sounds like he should invest in a few PTS calibration/test plates.
His bench is matching up with several other professional dudes. I think it's just a different software coming up with the numbers
