Spring relocation, 15" Crager SS 275/ 60/ 15 tires fit just fine on my '69. I don't recall the back spacing at the moment.

would there be any differences anywhere between your and a 1972? Now is yours the relocation kit or just the offset spring mounts?

On a 72 you can get a wheel that is around 8 inches wide without much difficulty and a 275 tire with the offset Shackel kit.
With the full 3 inch relocation kit and mini tub a you can get a 12 inch wheel and 325 tire with out much trouble.
Here is my 72 with a 3 inch relocation kit and 275 60 drag radials on a 10 inch wheel...

I would say 275... no point doing the 3 inch relocation without the tub
