Console tach in my duster

Just wondering what everyone's opinion is on putting a 4spd console with tach in a 1972 340 duster. Have an opportunity to buy a console out of a 69 dart gts. Should be easily achievable not?

And another thing. What's a reasonable price to pay for a complete console and tach?

I think it would work. I like that stuff. It freaks people out at shows. They can't figure out if it's factory or not. LOL! It might be a little pricey. 200.00?

A 69 4-speed console is a 1 year only piece & very desirable....

I just bought a used, but NOS looking, I mean perfect factory console tach for my 68 GTS H code project. Even came with the sender and the plastic mounting bushing. I paid $700. I think it's worth it. They are rarely seen out there.
