Restoring a 74 Duster & recently bought a center console & shifter. The hard plastic piece that the shifter sits in is in bad shape. What exactly is that called, where can I can one (or can it be repaired somehow?)

Yes, make one yourself. I used a plastic notebook divider page.

I call it a shifter bezel blind. I doubt that's correct. It is repoped at about 12 bucks.
I've made a few and shipped them to other members. The only thing special about it is the hole is oval, not perfectly round. Has to do with shaft angle passing through.
