I will need a new top ( 67 dart gt convertible).. i removed the old top and the 3 piece that sandwich the back of the top are not in good condition ... my question is, do these belt like hold downs come new with a new top? Or available new?? Or will i have to use the old ones / find better oem ? Tia. Ink

Not sure what you are referring to..
There should be the actual top material, the rear window filler, top pads that run from the front header back to the main/rear bow, top cables again, front header to main bow, three piece tack rail that attaches the top to the top well...
The top material tacks to the rear/main bow, the rear tack rail & is glued/captured at the front header by the weatherstrip channel

Those are the tack rails... Not available new... However they don't have to be perfect... Typically I remove the worst of the damaged fiberboard & glue new board back in the channels... There is aftermarket material sold for the job but it is made of plastic and really doesn't hold the staples well... Instead most any fabric/upholstery shop will sell you fiber board, it comes in 1/8" thick 36"x48" sheets, just cut it into strips and build up the layers as needed... Glue & clamps... When it's installed it gets clamped to the body so it can't come apart..
Do the same thing for the main rear bow..
Btw just a note
The curtain and top attach this these parts and then these parts attach to the car.
Not much room for adjustment and you Can Not make any adjustments to the staples with it attached to the car.plus it's attaching bolts go through the top and curtain fabric.
Measure 3 times cut once
