Convert from a 67 tank to a 68 tank.

I am think of converrting my 67 Barracuda gas tank to the 68 style.I have the 68 style rear mounting bracket that came with my new trunk pan.What do I need to do where the tank straps mount up front?I am thinking I will have to cut two slots.Is there a place to cut the slots on a 67 body.I am also guessing I will have to buy a 68 gas tank.Anyone have pics of the front where the straps mount to the body?

The tank will work. The straps up front have a triangle shaped hole where they mount into. Probably reinforced for the weight of a full tank.
