Convertible Boot/Trim questions.

OK. So I'm looking to replace the boot on my 69 GTS. I've been struggling to find the right resource for the boot. Has anyone replaced theirs, and bought a correct fit piece?

I'm told these need to be tailored after you purchase. Is this accurate?

I bought one for my Cuda. I believe that it was the same one used on Mustangs. It came with the snaps uninstalled so you can place them to match your car. It didn't need tailoring, just installation of the snaps. A simple vice grip tool was all it took, plus a nice hole punch. Don't recall where I got the boot though.

Got mine from Ledgendary

It fits probably as well as the original that I still had but it wasn't in the best shape. You know I might still have it.....LOL

The snaps are not installed but don't remember it being a problem to put them in

So far all the products they make that I've seen has been very good quality

Mine's from Legendary...was on the car when I bought it....fits well. The factory boot cover came with my purchase.
