Converting from SB 904 to SB 727

I currently have A-904 with 8 3/4 rear on my 72 Swinger 318. It needs to be re-built. My buddy gave me a smokin deal on a re-built SB 727??? I know there is some things you need to do to switch from a 904 to 727. Need advice!! Thanks!!
