Hey Guys, my black 73 Duster started running like monkey poop yesterday.

I was told it has a 82 Dodge truck 318 in it, and evidently the carb from it too.

Its a Carter 8385S, a non adjustable feedback carb. How smart is that? With no feedback to allow it to work correcty. It starts to run really rich and the fuel starts boiling in the carb and starts puking out all the plugged orifices.

What is the usual size two barrel carb for a 318 to replace this pile of garbage?

Looking at the parts interchange book it says Carter bbd two barrel
ID#6317 for 73 318.

Oh and #6344 California only.

Maybe someone else will have a another idea.

My '65 273 uses a Carter, which I think was essentially the same thru the 70's. I bought a new one for ~$25 on ebay. Maybe you'll get as lucky. Currently have it on a 4 barrel alum intake w/ 2-4 adapter, since I plan to switch to Throttle Body later. You might consider the Holley Econo-master carb for better mileage. I have seen 2 barrel ones for Mopar SB on ebay, but not cheap. You might also consider switching to a 4 barrel intake, which would change your options.
