Hey there i bought these control arms for my dart project , the castle nut had 2 spacers under it. Not sure what the spacers are for, when installing the ball joint into the spindle the taper bottoms into the spindle but it also cuts the grease boot. So i asume that one of the spacers goes on first then install into spindle ? so which one do i use the thicker one or thiner ? , has anyone used these control arms before ?

Thanks mike

It's the smaller ball joint, you need to use the larger ball joint. Don't use a washer on top of the stud, the stud must fit the spindle. You can use a washer under the nut to line up the cotter pin hole better.

So i asume that with these control arms you can interchange from small to large without any fitment issues?

What year are the control arms for ?

What year spindles ?

K772 joint for 73 up, K704 for 72 down and I don't think it will fit. It's been a while sense I have swapped ball joints around but I think the OD of the joint itself is bigger.

I also think the caliper might hit the arm the way the arm is made.
