Is this going to leak? The groove is big enough to catch a fingernail.

My bet is yes. They make a sleeve repair kit to take take care of that.

I'd bet it does. I've had them with less groove than that leak. Like Dartman said they make a repair sleeve. NAPA sells them if you have a NAPA close to you.
