Looking for input on suggested redline on the p5007647 or p5153474 crate 402 motor.

If you’re curious I have it in a 70 Duster, reverse manual valve body, ~3000 converter and 4.10 gear. 26" sticky tire. Wondering what e.t’s this will achieve in the 1/8 and maybe the 1/4 if I gear down a bit, maybe 3.91’s?

engine details:
9.0 compression
KB hyper U pistons
H beam rods
Scat cast 4" crank
stock Magnum R/T heads (2.02 x 1.65 stainless valve)
Cam is 288/292 advertised, 230/234 @ .050. - .501 and .513 at the valve- 108 Centerline
M1
quick fuel DP 750 carb

really hard to find component and build info on these motors. They rate it at 435hp and 470 torque

Once dialed in, launch worked out and hooking I’d say low 12’s in the 1/4. High 7’s in the 1/8. No need to Rev past 6000 or need to change rear gears. I’d swap to an Air Gap or up the converter stall if sticking with the M1 (if it’s a single plane) and your ET’s would be better

I’m crossing the stripe at 6700-6800 rpm with that rear gear and 26.5” tire with 5% converter slip at the stripe at 117 mph. You are just going to have to play with shift rpm to see what it wants. Also running that crank, but it has been balance to 1/2 gram. I have more head and compression. If it really is 435hp you are making a bit more than me.

G-meter app based on accelerometer chip ( screen turns) and a go-pro.
Vid your runs to see when g's drop, that's your shift point.

Think you have too much gear to run it in the 1/4.
those heads are good, had them on a trick stock stroke 318 that went 11.60’s at 3400 pounds. Similar cam, bit more compression, I ran it 6200 or so rpm.
70 duster will fit a 28 tire, have had one on several of them, not cut or minitubbed.
I would go that way instead of changing the gears.
once sorted, should easily dip into the 11’s without breaking a sweat
