I was just wondering if any of you have seen this.
I'm amazed by it.

If you know of anymore i want to see.

it works if you click at the top.. But yeah thats the 62 and earlier cross ram. They can be found used every once and a while. They were on a few of the bigger cars.

I see it almost everyday on the 500-incher in my '60 Chrysler Newyorker... ;)

How how's your throttle response on that thing?

Seems to me he may have passed on, but there were pictures here of someone who shoehorned one of those setups into an A body. I'd like to drive one, just once.

Throttle response is way better than you would believe. Surprised me aswell after I had installed the setup.
When I blip the throttle with the hood closed you wouldn't even know this longram intake system was there.

Here's a clip I made the day I had installed the system on the car.
Unfortunatly the lousy camera I had with me that day destroyed most of the idle sound, making the engine sound weak. But I guess you should've been there :evil4:

Shoehorned ??
All he did was notch the right inner fender a bit...

With headers, 2.25 valves, a .509 cam and I think about 11.25 compression, throttle response was immediate and the low end torque was immense.
Traction was a bit of a problem.

I dearly hope it's poor lighting, and not "that new AFB three barrel"

Seen them on the old super stock cars Also it is the basis for one of the 2 intakes I am making for my Abody smallblock . Only I am bringing the runners into a small plenium in stead of using a balance tube for fuel equalization and they stop over the valve cover instead of over the shocks. The othewr manifold looks more like hillborn injector stacks

Poor lighting indeed. There are two 625cfm Carter carbs on that engine, along with pretty much a stock-ish cam with 1.6 rockers.

A younger guy on here built a 68 Dart, 440 with crossram setup, with the air cleaners sticking through the hood. I can't quite remember his user name though.

Got one for my 38 plymouth coupe build

It just has to be embarrassing (for the Chivvy) when you get it handed to ya by Christine's cousin What does that thing run in the 1/4?

You think they make that for a smallblock lol that would look awesome lol
