i was wondering if anyone out there with a 70-71 Dart could help me out here, i have been re-wiring most of the wires within the engine compartment,

and....:angry7:

i have located 2 uncut wires coming from the centre plug on the wiring harness which is the ignition circut, I have no clue whether or not the colors i say will be the same on your car,

one of the wires is white and was cut close to the position of the coil and was left hanging from the firewall with no clue to where it goes.

The next one is a purple wire coming from the same plug in the wiring harness, it is purple and stretched out towards the alternator with the rest of the wires that go out there, the only way i found this was that i saw the start but no connection at the end...

if you very helpful people on here could help me with yet another problem i would be very happy, i understand your wires may be taped up but maybe you could tell me where they start and where they end.

and yet one last question, i have seen wires tape up and it is a hassle to do that, what do you guys/ gals think about the plastic tube/ housing that contains are the wires?

thank you thank you thank you, im hoping i can just find it on there now, if there is anybody else who does read this and still wants to check for me i wont say no.

Generally the white wire with the {black tracer} is for the oil light ,and the purple is for the temperature guage. That is from my experience anyway
:read2: =D> :toothy8:

this would make sense if the previous owner had a aftermarket oil pressure and water temp gauge.

previous owner was my dad, and i dont believe that the there was after market gauges, when i got the car there was no interior and the gauges i have now hardly work... but it makes sense i found them on the wiring gauge located in the link above
