Mechanic Special
1994 Dodge Caravan SE 3 door 7 passenger
FWD, dry CV axles
3.3 V-6 runs very good. Uses one quart of oil every 3,000 miles.
Current mileage 167,387
3rd row bench seats 3 people, center seats 2 people, both have quick removal levers.
I've owned this vehicle since 2000. It had 137K on it when we bought it.
It's been a great van except for the tranny going out.
Starts within 2 seconds.
Clear Washington State title in my name.
Tranny is a 4-Speed, with overdrive.
The interior is exceptionally clean, light charcoal sheep skin front bucket seat covers and cloth seat covers for the two benches, currently off. The seats are excellent, non-smoker, no pets.
The bad.......
Bad tranny.
My son was rounding the corner in my driveway with a pickup with a snowplow and clipped the turn signal lens on the front passenger side. Pull n' Sav should have one?
It does have a slow electrical trickle leak which I have not determine why that is happening.
I took off the mag wheels to keep my price down, currently has steel wheels with a pair of older studded mud and snows and a pair of all seasons.
Original hub caps.
Dry CV axles
Minimal clear coat flaking on driver's door near key slot
Good glass all the way around, no chips, no cracks.
Factory owner's manual.
Power mirrors
Window cranks, means no hassles with power window issues.
Dual air bags.
Options include:
roof rack
running boards
1" frame mounted receiver hitch
Hood shield
Needs new wiper blades and the interior rear view mirror re-attached.
Needs 10 to 20 factory wheel lug nuts as that the ones I put on are GM and not that tight to the studs.
Set of 4 mag wheels by Modern with 90% all seasons available for a additional $400.
I was going to ask $1,200 but decided on $900, will consider part trade for decent concrete power trowel, small caliber firearms. I would like to keep the 2 year old battery.
I have grandpa's car hauler trailer handy and will tow it up to 20 miles from Colbert.
