Thanks guys, ill be happier once its back together. Local Mopar machinist retires in April and I want him to check 273 block/crank and fit on .030 over slugs. Running 273 is still complete on another stand, needs commando pistons to shine.
Its a mess right now but there's a method to the madness. Orig 904 parts on table. Got rooster reinstalled properly on vb, had to lift/wiggle a bit to wiggle valve into position. That detent ball FLIES!! If yer not careful.
