i have an everyday driver 74 duster 360. i want to keep most things stock or stock appearing. what i need right now is to put rear shocks on since i have blown the bladder out on 2 sets of air shocks doing hole shots.

is there a certain length of shock needed to have the rear sit level....i don't want it to look like a down hill racer.

thanks

If you have stock springs just go get some stock replacement shocks.

Shocks are designed for spring control not ride height adjustment.

I had to go with air shock's because my leaf springs are sagging and old in my 66 Valiant but new springs is the way to go with good shock's.
another upgrade for my little 66 for this winter and I will chunk the air shock's.
It was a must do to up grade to 14'' Rally wheels, and I keep just 65 lb of air pressure in them.

Air shocks are for ride load/height adjustment for towing/heavy load carries.
Since your car is a daily driver, as set of KYB shocks would be fine for use.
