Daily Driver Jeep G.C. Choices

I’m looking at two jeep grand cherokees for a daily driver, both offered for sale by original owners, great cosmetic and mechanical condition and at the same price.

Both are 4x4, dual exhaust, diamond black ext with black leather int., same 20” wheels.

Only noticeable differences is 2018 has more mileage (46K) and also has a panoramic sunroof. Needs 4 new tires.

The 2017 has 34K miles, standard roof, has four new tires.

Which of these two would you pick?

2017. I hate sunroofs and with new tires it is $1000 cheaper with less miles.

the tires will run you 1200 dollars and as cool as a sunroof is...sooner or later, it WILL leak

Neither. Keeping black vehicles clean stinks.

However, if those were the last vehicles on earth available, I'd get the 17

My wife’s 18 with the 5.7 has been bullet proof. 5 Grand Cherokees over the years never a leaky sunroof.

Wife has a 2016, full sunroof almost 100,000 now and no leaks. No other problems except one coil. So I wouldn't let the sunroof worry you.
