Damn 2 piece Hookers!!! Argh!

If anyone has the two piece Hookers they are not fun when the front tube that wraps around the front of the K frame gets stuck inside the rest of the header. I have been trying to remove the drivers side header for two weeks now and can't get the slip joint to break free. I have used heat, about a half can of penetrating oil, even cut down a putty knife and wedged it between the tubes! I need to get the thing off so I can remove the head and install the new Eddy's. I am about ready to cut it and have it welded back together. Actually, I'm about ready to go postal with a hammer! :evil:

I have a set of super comps. on my car,i hate them!!

Your probably gonna be better off cuttin the tube then welding it back together,if they been on for a while there probably not gonna come apart!

Amen brother.... Go for the TTI's. Alot more money, but alot less aggravation. Get a saz-all and cut those bastards off.... :twisted:
