Well today was the day to fire the scamp! It didnt happen! Turns out the MSD Street fire box i bought used is bad. Just my luck. Someone wanna loan me $100 for a new one lol. Just frusterated. Would it be best to buy new or send for repair never used MSD for repair so unsure of the cost. new box is $108 from Advanced!

My father in law who is very old school talks alot like you do. Went though the trouble shooting and wiring and its wired right. Checked all the connectors. Grounds are good, voltage is good. The coil test they they say to used failed on 2 coils known to be good. After that it says in the instructions your box needs service.

It's been a good while, but I've used their repair service on a 6AL before and it was very good. I think they even repaired it for free. I don't know if that applies to their Streetfire line up, though.
