dart 8 3 / 4 axle in a duster?

Would a dart 8 3 / 4 axle have the correct dimensions to fit under a duster with out any modification. Just a straight forward bolt in? Other than the driveshaft lenght. Leaf spring perch and all? I have a 8 1 / 4 in car now

yes, exact fit

and, if memory serves me well, the 8 1/4 and the 8 3/4 use the same U bolts, so that's another dollar saved

just be sure you back off the park brake cable adjusters first

the only other thing to consider is bolt pattern
I know the 8 3/4 came in both small bolt pattern and large bolt pattern, but I don't know if the 8 1/4 ever came in SBP

so just be sure you match that, or have a set of rims that will fit on the 8 3/4 ready
