Dart GT Fender Trim Length 65 vs 66

I have a pair of aluminum fender trim pieces for a Dart GT that run the length of the front fenders along the top. They are too short to fit my 1965.

The ones that fit my car are approx. 43 1/2 inches long. These are approx. 42 1/4" inches long. I'm guessing they are from a 1966 but not certain. Can anyone with a 66 Dart GT post the length of the aluminum fender trim to confirm.

I have the early version, pre-nov. 1964 production, and the length is less than 43". I know the front chrome with the mounting stud is also different for 66. Just don't know when the switch was made.

looks to be 42 1/4 inches. 66 for sure, dart.
