I would like to see how folks ran the front post on there cages. Did u remove the dash? Did u cut the dash? I'm torn between pulling the dash and front glass or just "making the bar fit"
I've had half a cage for way to long, it's to the point where I'm about to just say F*@k it and do something stupid.

My car is a 71 Dart and I am building a 10 point cage.

Please post pics so I can see where your front down legs go and note my down legs must tie into the front horizontal bar. (The bars that go to the front of the frame by the shock mount.)

Any info would be a huge help.

Thanks again for the time and advice.

What I see locally is that, most folks throw the dash away and push the bars as far forward as possible. Then go back and put an aluminum dash in but, I wanted my old car to look like I could drive it home. Bought a fiberglas dash and cut it to fit, then closed the gaps around the cage bars with riveted on, thin aluminum and painted the thing completed. Most people never knew it wasn't original. Wish I had a picture, cause it was easy and looked great.

Here what Mad Dart did on this dart when it was his until I bought it from him

Yeah he did an awesome job, and the front arms are tucked inside the fender well to keep clearance in the engine bay
