are the twin hood scoops for a dart the same size as the twin scoops for the coronet and road runner?
.....I hered they also used them on the Datonas and Superbirds on the fenders. Not positive on that one though.
yup deff the same only thing diff about the A and B scoops is the B body scoops got a chrome trim around the opening and the As did not. Makes a nice 300$ part with the trim where as the As go for like a 150$
Different scoops, and the Daytona & Superbird each use a unique scoop. They don't correctly interchange between the two cars.
A bodies came with the trim too.
I was not aware.... those original with that car?
I also read somewhere that the optional twin side scoops on the 69 Super Bee were the same as the twin scoops on the 340 'Cuda. Anybody know if there's any truth to that?
Nope. The 69 cuda' 340 had 2 short single scoops on the hood or fenders while the super bee had 2 two scoop on the quarter pannel.
69, 70, 71 scoops all have the same part numbers. The only difference was how the holes where drilled for the emblem. These scoops where only available on; 69 Super Bee, 69 Coronet R/T, 70 Super Bee, 70 Coronet R/T, 70 Dart Swinger 340, 70 Duster 340, 71 Demon 340, 71 Duster 340, 71 Duster Twister. They may have also been available on the Canadian 71 Dart Swinger 340. Those are the ONLY models that they where every factory installed on.
I wondered on 71's, but I am about 100% sure they where on 70's. Not for sure though. Other than those two errors, I think you will find my findings correct
lol,, thanks! also, is there anyway to know where to mount the scoops and cut the holes?
