DASH PAD FACTORY – EBAY “DASHPADSTX” ALAN FOXX AND ALANA -SCAM - THIEVES

-
I actually think that this is a hell of an idea
Maybe, and maybe not, considering that a lot of the time only one side of the story ever gets told here.

Plus, I’m not an attorney, but I think having an official forum for just this one subject may open up FABO to some sort of lawsuit (slander?).

I hate this **** as much as the next person (and I’ve been burned before as well), but unless (and until?) an attorney says otherwise, I would tread very carefully on this, as I’m not sure what the effects would be.

My mistake was not getting a receipt for my deposit and core (69 Dodge Polar), dropped off at the Spring fling. I checked with him at the Fall fling that same year and he recalled to order but was flaky on his response. At the next Spring Fling I checked with him and gave him a receipt to sign. The following Fall Fling he had no reciliation of the order, showed him the receipt and got my deposit back. I saw the writing on the wall pretty quick, all I was out was my core.

Alan

Dash Pad Pros has had my father in law’s dash and cash for almost a year now. He’s always “two weeks out”.

I wonder if they still have your father in law’s dash core.

I honestly doubt it. I don’t remember the options, but it’s a unique dash. Not reproduced anymore. After months of communication and promises, the guy throws out a “which dash was yours again?”.

We happened to be talking about it today. For whatever it’s worth, my father in law said he found Alan Foxx’s business card with a dash he bought from YearOne.

Does anyone have a clue as to their address, maybe someone can get the legal system involved.

Saw him at the indy swap meet on the weekend. He had a table in the second building at the end of the first Isle. My first encounter with him was last year at the Moparty event in Kentucky. That was my first mistake. Took his card and forwarded it to a friend and unfortunately things have went very similar to the testimonials we read here. That was my second mistake. This time I just listened to him tell a dude about the turn around time is two to three weeks. My friend has been waiting since last September. I feel responsible cause if not for me he wouldn't be in this predicament. Anyway I would like to know if we along with event organizers could somehow ban him from setting up shop at these events. At least this might cut down on his scam.

Did you say something to him? I wouldn't have been able to hold myself back.

Sorry to read Noel, even a fn 800# lmao. Yet a mod here feels the need to delete/model threads with this jailhouse goofs reviews. What a joke
Back off Jack! I am working on merging all three threads so all the bad stories are in 1 place. Someone looks the business name up on the net and this site and all the info will be here to show.

To be perfectly honest no I did nothing. I am a visitor in a foreign country. I start yelling losing my **** and the next thing you know security is involved. I'm detained and yes maybe I get a break from the authorities and released. Maybe not. Unfortunately with my indiscretions in my youth I have a bit of a rap sheet that has kept me from being able to visit the USA for 20 plus years along with other **** that I don't want to share at this time. So no I'm not prepared to risk everything for this POS. Sure I would have liked to borrow one ya'lls peacemakers and let it sing but again he's not worth the rest of my life. Unfortunately these types know this and the so called law let's them get away with it. All this said maybe some agree , maybe some don't. If Allan ends up in a ditch it wasn't me but no tears shed here.

I have a friend who is retired Texas DPS and DEA, too bad he's not closer to us. I might just have John go by and tune him up. LMAO!

Very good points Noel! I can honestly say you did the right thing. As you know I'm in same boat.

I was close to that area in Indy but I wasn’t looking for a dash pad. Just trying to put a face with this.

My father-in-law had a “restored” dash land on his doorstep! I haven’t seen it yet, but he said it’s poor quality work. Just glad to get it back at this point.
