Dash pad question

Hello, I have a 75' duster with the "ridge-top" Dash pad. I have a chance to buy a black ridge-less dash pad from a 71'. Does anyone know if it would work in mine?,

It should. I have a 73 dash pad in my 72 Demon. The worst thing I can think of happening in this scenario is that the posts that secure the dash pad to the dash are not in the same place. This would require drilling new holes in the dash panel. Any one else?

I believe all 69 to 76 pads are interchangeable, no drilling required.

I have a '69 pad installed in my '76. It was a bolt-on with no mods.

68 is by its self.
69 is by itself.
70 up are the same.

no one asked about or mentioned the one year only crazy expensive 3 piece 68 pads.
69-76 are interchangeable, didnt say identical. One will fit in place of the other without modifications.
