Dash removal ?

Can you take the dash out without removing the windshield?
If I just want to paint it, should I just do that while it is in the car?

To remove the dash frame itself you have to remove the windshield. When I need to paint one in the car with windshield in place I make a cardboard mask for it from the outside then cut it and tape it into place.sem trim black in spray bomb look's great if you want a semi flat black finish on the top to reduce glare.

removed dash by cutting bolts from inside...replaced using J or U nuts with bolts going upwards....

Make sure the bolt's arent too long if you do it this way
