The casting looks like the fourth # is either a 8 or is it a 6. It says 273 . Also the two tranny pictures have two sets of numbers, could someone explain please?
Decifer engine & tranny serial numbers. I have a 67 dart, i think engine says 2808030 but it could.

Trans 2801534 = 1967 Dart, Cuda, Valiant 273 2bll carb.

Guess its not matching since the 273 is 4bbl duel exaust...

Could have been converted from 2bbl to 4bbl by previous owner. Need to confirm if it's a legit 4bbl 273 car. What's the 5th digit in the VIN? "D" is 2bbl, and "E" is 4bbl.

The 5th letter is a D , so it must have been converted later to a 4bbl. Thanks for responding..
