This is what I came up with using the www.mymopar.com decoder.
CAR: Plymouth Barracuda 2 Door Hardtop
ENGINE: 225cid Slant Six
TRANSMISSION: 3-Speed Automatic
TIRES: Unknown tire code
BUILD DATE: May 01.
AXLE: 2.94 Rear Axle Ratio
INTERIOR: High Trim Grade White on Black Interior.
PAINT: Monotone Bright Blue Metallic Paint.
OTHER: Black Upper Door Frame Color.
The tire code (23) is for a 6.95 whitewall steel belt. I also see a "Deep Plum" paint code with those numbers but for a '66 model. I wonder if there was a crossover to '67 using that code. Your existing paint (original?) looks closer to the plum than to bright blue metalic. Check other places on the car to see what the original color looks like.
Thanks guys. Original colour is definitely a blue, as its poking through under the hood, as well as door jambs and trunk area. So blue with white buckets and black carpet is it?
