Just be aware after 50ish yrs, there's nothing to say the guts are what it originated with.
I have replaced numerous damaged cases with whatever I had on the pile to make a complete trans.

Do you know if this a a body trans?

Post a picture of the entire thing, easy to tell if it's an A body. It'll have a shorter tail housing on it

It has a 76 model year vin#. So assuming it has the original parts inside, it would be an overdrive 4th gear.
