About where (HP, torque) do you need a deep sump oil pan? My engine is going to be stroker 360 with Edelbrock heads. It needs an oil pan (the block core came from a truck). It is going into a 67 Barracuda. I changed the K-frame and suspension, brakes, centerlink, steering, to 73+ parts.
It seems the choices are the stock MP 5 qt, or the Milodon and Moroso 8 qt, and this 6qt from KMJ on ebay. The KMJ looks pretty interesting, has gates, crank scraper. Less expensive than the other deep ones, but not as deep. The front sump seems a little odd. Anybody use one?

This pan fits most stock pan locations. It has a 2 gate assembly, crank scraper, and baffles. Measures 8" deep with the front expanded for more capacity. Front sump 6 quart capacity. Painted black finish.
