About where (HP, torque) do you need a deep sump oil pan? My engine is going to be stroker 360 with Edelbrock heads. It needs an oil pan (the block core came from a truck). It is going into a 67 Barracuda. I changed the K-frame and suspension, brakes, centerlink, steering, to 73+ parts.

It seems the choices are the stock MP 5 qt, or the Milodon and Moroso 8 qt, and this 6qt from KMJ on ebay. The KMJ looks pretty interesting, has gates, crank scraper. Less expensive than the other deep ones, but not as deep. The front sump seems a little odd. Anybody use one?

This pan fits most stock pan locations. It has a 2 gate assembly, crank scraper, and baffles. Measures 8" deep with the front expanded for more capacity. Front sump 6 quart capacity. Painted black finish.
To purchase pickup tube for above pan click on the below link.

If your going stroker, i'd upgrade the oil system, deeper pan, high flow pump etc. I think some members have used that pan you posted. Im sure one of them will chime in.

If you have the Fabrication Skills, a stock pan will do. Cut it all the way around, about 2" above the drain hole. Weld in a 2" wide piece, in between the halves. Presto instant 7 Qt Pan. Imo, its the cheapest way too. Dont forget to get the longer pickup.

I run the Kevko pan in my small block stroker. Clears the TTI headers and k-frame no problems. Does not hang low either. It is 6 quarts plus the oil filter. Don't have to hassle with a windage tray because it has a crank scraper on the pan.
