I'm 4 years past a brief heart attack (no permanent heart damage) so I can relate to a fair degree; the doubts and worries take a while to recede. And I had a great uncle who had a bad stroke when I was around 8 years old; he recovered very well, lived long and well, and I could introduce him to my own newborn son 22 years later. So I keep that in mind.....

YA I here ya,the problim is my brain just does not feel the same after my stroke,my Doctor say thats normal for some people ,he also says and I know that it could of been a lot worse.Lets stay healthy.
