Pre-OBD1 trucks are only going up in value. For 10.5 I’d offer 7 and go from there if the underside is clean.

I've been driving first gens before it was cool. My daily was (still have it) an 87 2wd with a slant, and the worker is a 92 w250 with a Cummins. Hell, the 87 wasn't much more new than the 10.5 buddy is asking, and the Cummins was 2 grand certified with 220km 12 years ago. It's not the first time that the masses have ruined a good thing!
