Found this at Walmart. 23 bucks is a bit high but I couldn't just leave it there.

Is there a slant six option?

They are a little pricey but a plastic bottle of Ketchup is $7.00 nowadays. We buy those models for our grandson, model paint and brushes just to make sure he gets started early. LOL His grandfather on his father's side owned an independent mechanic shop so he gets it from both sides. Due to our age we usually only buy 60's muscle car models but we showed him your post and he was kind of digging on the blue Demon. Now I guess we will have to bump up to the 70's models. We only have ourselves to blame! LOL

That's cool ! I've got a closet full of unopened Mopar models that I've had for years. Maybe I'll get to em before the Estate Auction people do....lol. :realcrazy:

ebay says it's in the Johan 64 Plymouth, and also in the AMT reissue.

Interestingly a few 3D printed variants are available-

Looks like they are $27.50

I'd say that the one that shows it with 2 Holley Sniper's will get them yanked off there and be for sale on some model car forum in 2 or 3 months. Just like the real ones that show up on here from time to time!

1/25 slant's were made, and come up on ebay occasionally.

I've got one but don't remember what kit it came in.
Yeah some of those ain't cheap, either. lol

I think I have an old model, "Futura"???...... had a Slanty in it, mid-ship sort of cab-over sport truck thing.

Do any of you have an Ollie's discount store nearby? They stock plastic model kits at killer discounts. I bought and am building an AMT 23 model T depot hack I picked up for $10 with a coupon. I just picked up an MPC 74 road runner kit for $12. They also have aircraft and ship models. Since it's a discount store. Once the kits are gone, they restock with different kits. If you see something you like, get it then. My son and I built this wacky thing for him. And then built a snap together dodge viper GTS. Ollie's make kit building affordable. They also had an AMT semi truck and trailer kit for $19

The Dodge Deora kit. The Alexander brothers custom A100 show car was immortalized as a model kit and just like the real one the kit also slant 6 powered. Yes it’s real.

I built one. Was so disappointed that such a cool ride like that was saddled with a slant sux.

Mine ended up donating it's headlights to a 32 ford "hot rod".

I forget what happened to the model.
It may have been involved in the infamous "grandmother stepped on them" incident.

My best friends husband has a Model T depot hack in his garage. I'm betting yours will look better than his.
Yours will certainly be easier to see. His is buried under pack-rat junk.
