Anyone on here running one? I am looking at a finned aluminum vs the derale. I don't like that the derale looks like it's 4-5" deep!! Figured I would ask here before placing the order. Wish they made one about 3" deep vs the lowboy, really like the derale pan on the turbo 350 in my racecar.

I'm running the Derale on my 68 Cuda, this pan is very deep. When it was first installed on my car it become the lowest component on the under carriage, even lower then my hooker headers. I had my friend who is a fabricator modify the pan and make it smaller or not as deep.

It's made for a later model transmission but works just fine. It has a drain plug and is about 2" deeper than a stock pan. I got a filter extension for less than $20 at the local dealership.
