Anybody try using Dex 6 in their 727's? I gonna be doing a trans service and I am considering trying it. According to Union 76 application charts it is specified for 70 and up Chrysler Products. It is a synthetic fluid and I am running a stall converter. It should deal with the heat issues better. Any thoughts?

It'd be like filling the tank of a 8.2:1 comp ratio motor with 118 octane racing gas : no harm , but total overkill .

I use Type 'F' ; B&M 'Trick-Shift' is modified Type 'F' and works well ; Lucas 'Sure Shift' is good as well .

Plus 3 , Plus 4 , Merc V and Dex VI are meant for overdrive trannies with lockup torque converters .
