What model years did the complete cracking of coding start?

I was planning on using Megasquirt, but now am considering a factory computer. Now that Mopar has seen the light and helped Diablosport unlock the coding it seems like picking up a complete motor with wiring harness and computer makes more sense. But only if the torque management can be COMPLETELY disabled.

I am looking at a 2013 truck motor, coupling it with a Viper T56. Can these newer computers be flashed for use with a manual transmission?

Any opinions either way?

I think you need an 09 Challenger ecu for that ability.

I am putting a 2013 5.7 hemi with a tremec in a challenger, sourced the wiring and ecm from modern muscle.

I know I can change the parameters on my 2011 392. I believe they have the ability to tune through 2013. 2012 for sure.

Also you will need to convert to non mds to run a manual trans.

The engine year is not the problem to tune it is the ECU.
