Did anybody saw this important video of Joe Zolper

I stopped to look at a 260 z once at a "mop and pop" used car lot.
Never owned one but was looking for a commuter car and it was the same color as my truck (metallic bronze).
The first words out of pop's mouth were "that's a very special car...my daughter learned to drive in it".
I didn't even stick around to hear the price.

He is right to a certain extent. I've never had thoughts that these cars will just keep going up forever. My son has 0 interest. No cars for him. My daughter, soon to be 27, does have interest but I'm not delusional enough to leaving her the 5 cars I have. She just wouldn't be able to take care of them all. Pick 1 or 2 and sell the others. They're all turn key, run and drive, and I drive them all. Sometimes driving 3 in one weekend so they're not rusted hulks sitting in pieces. It kills me to see owners of these cars leaving them sitting in the garage undriven. What's the point of having it then? (my opinion). A guy up the street from me has a nice E body that just sits in the garage with stuff piled on top of it. I've never seen it out.
Yes, the interest will drop as time goes on. Model A's, T's, and 20's cars were bringing money back in the 70's because that generation had interest. Now you can pick up a nice model A for 10-15k. I don't agree the bottom will drop out but at some point interest will decline.

Ten years from now when a Honda civic or a Toyota corolla is nearing 50k. I'm suppose to believe that a run of the mill SB duster, or 383 roadrunner will be almost worthless ? At the least some smart young people will use them for transportation.

I know of a salesman that sold his "late mother's car" 3× in one day at a Poncho dealership in the early '90's,...lololol
