We got our gates the other day. A friends son will be pounding in all of the posts here shortly, hopefully. Then our boy will have 5 acres of digging room....He is convinced that he will catch another gopher. So far he has only caught 1, but he sure as hell gives it his all......

Doug - Is he a Rhodesian Ridgeback? He sure looks like one even though I don't see any evidence of a ridge in your pics. The size, coloring, and all the shapes are right - even the furrows on the top of his head when his ears are "up" when he's digging.

I had a border collie that was a destroyer of moles. She would dig them up and bring them to the door. We had 0 moles in our yard, but right outside of her reach, there were moles everywhere. Thankfully she didnt do quite that much damage to the yard lol

We had a dog like that on the farm. One summer of chasing those little blind bastards and he had thwm cleaned out. No more moles until he died. Now the whole yard is one big tunnel.
